Gateway Games

I met the term 'Gateway Game'  with general board games, often used for games that would be good to introduce modern board games to players that may only have played Monopoly.  For example Carcassonne, Ticket to Ride, Catan.  The same idea can apply to abstract game for those who have only met Noughts & Crosses and chess.

• For older children and adults - Hex, Amazons, Pushfight . . .
